How I choose what to recommend
- I only recommend equipment I own and use. If I haven’t used it, I don’t recommend it.
- Nobody pays me to review a product. I don’t accept payment for reviews or sponsored articles.
- If a brand sends me something to try, I say so in the article, and I write what I actually think, good and bad.
- A commission never decides a recommendation. Many of my favorite things cost $10, and I’ll keep saying so.
